Forum Rules & Code of Conduct

Welcome to the Pillars of Survival Community Forum. Our mission: strength, preparedness, and principled discussion. To protect that mission and maintain a healthy space, every member must abide by these rules.


1. Respect & Civility First

  • Disagreement is permitted. Hostility or personal attacks are not.

  • Insults, name-calling, slurs, or threats will result in removal.

  • Debate boldly, but keep it dignified and focused on ideas, not people.


2. Honor Free Speech & Truth

  • Opinions, even unpopular ones, are welcome; so long as they’re expressed civilly.

  • Do not post deliberate misinformation or conspiracy claims presented as fact.

  • If challenged, respond with evidence, not volume or insults.


3. Stay on Topic; Use Correct Categories

  • Post in the most relevant forum (Fire, Water, Food, Health, etc.).

  • Off-topic posts belong in Campfire Chat or Off-Topic sections only.

  • Moderators may move or remove posts that stray off pillar-related subjects.


4. No Hate, No Harassment

  • Harassment toward individuals or groups is forbidden.

  • No content that incites violence, dehumanizes, or endorses hate.

  • Discrimination or threats based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, etc., will not be tolerated.


5. No Spam, Self-Promotion, or Political Campaigning

  • Do not post advertisements, affiliate links, or solicitations.

  • Political viewpoints and discussion are allowed if relevant to the pillars, but no campaigning or partisan promotion.

  • If you wish to promote a service, blog, or product, get prior approval from moderators/admins.


6. Privacy & Safety

  • Do not post personal data of yourself or others (addresses, phone numbers, private info).

  • Report any doxxing, threats, or suspicious activity to moderators immediately.

  • Respect others’ privacy. What’s shared here should stay here, unless clearly stated otherwise.


7. Use Clear, Honest Titles & Tags

  • Title posts clearly. “Water Filtration Question” rather than “Help me!!!”

  • Use relevant tags to help others find your content (e.g. “fire-starting,” “safe-room,” “nutrition”).

  • Avoid sensational or misleading titles.


8. Moderators & Enforcement

  • Moderators may edit, move, or remove content that violates rules.

  • Repeated offenses may lead to suspension or permanent ban.

  • Appeals can be submitted via “Contact Staff” with a calm, reasoned explanation.


9. Be Helpful & Constructive

  • Prefer giving solutions over just pointing out problems.

  • Support new members. Answer questions kindly and clearly.

  • Share your experience, experiments, and projects.


10. Uphold the Mission & Values

We stand for faith, family, freedom, and preparedness.
While you’re free to debate, undermining those principles (e.g. promoting destructive ideologies) may be moderated.
This is not an echo chamber, but it’s not a free-for-all either.


By participating, you agree to these rules.
We built this community to be strong, free, and wise, and your conduct ensures it stays that way.
