Course Description:
Survival 101 is our flagship full-day course that introduces families and beginners to the Six Pillars of Survival: Fire, Water, Food, Shelter, Health, and Security. In this hands-on outdoor workshop, you’ll learn how to light your first fire, build a shelter, purify water, learn about methods of procuring food, and basic trauma first aid. You’ll also create different emergency plans you can take home. Perfect for families, scouts, or anyone new to preparedness and all age groups, this course is designed to be fun, safe, and unforgettable. Every participant takes home their own survival guidebook, bow drill kit, mini water filter, and more to keep practicing at home.

What You’ll Learn:

• How to start and maintain a fire using modern and primitive methods

• Water collection and purification techniques (filters, boiling, chemical treatment)

• Shelter-building with tarps, knots, and natural debris

• Basics of foraging, hunting, trapping, fishing and food safety

• First-aid essentials: bleeding control, recovery position, shock treatment, and more

• Family security drills for blackouts, earthquakes, intrusions, and other unexpected emergencies
